Day 34

Family day on the Elroy-Sparta Bike Trail…

image

A number of family members joined me on their bikes today in support of my bicycle ride across America. From left to right are my cousin, Jodi Moxon; her daughter, Isabella; her son, Wyatt; and her husband, Chris (back row). On the other side of me are my daughter, Emma; my son, Brennen; my dad, Don; my daughter, Norah; and my wife, Jen.

Later in the day we enjoyed some time at the Moxons’ house, where Brennen tried his hand at llama handling.

I’ll be taking a break from the bicycle for the next few days to enjoy more time with family, catch up on correspondence, and dedicate a few blog posts to Lutheran Campus Mission Association.

Welcome…to Wis. your trip sounds fantastic. Glad all the family enjoyed. They look like very Happy campers. Look forward to seeing you all Sunday in Lyndon.

  2. Finally able to catch up on your ride; hadn’t been able to check in a couple weeks. It looks so wonderful! What an amazing trip. So glad it’s going well, and you’re with family. Look forward to following you east – virtually that is. Prayers!

We’ve been following your ride since you left WA. It sounds like the ride of a lifetime! We hope you, Jen and your children enjoy your time with your family in Mauston for a few days. The very best to you all as you head on toward the East coast. God’s blessings!!
