Day 14

Posted: June 15, 2012 in Bike Ride Across America 2012

Eureka!  Today I rode from Libby, MT to Eureka, MT on Hwy 37.  This is a very scenic road with very little traffic, wide shoulders and an almost constant view of Lake Koocanusa.  Out of all of my days riding so far, today offered the least opportunity for interacting with other people.  A flat tire at the end of my ride caused a little frustration, but it didn’t take me too long to get back on the road.  Looks like I will have to replace the tire tonight, as there is a large cut that makes the inner tube vulnerable to future punctures.

  1. I know you don’t have much time for replies, if any. But . . . what kind of tires are you riding on?
